i found my love in hong kong
On my way back to Sydney I had a 6 hour stop over in Hong Kong - just enough time, I worked out, to get onto Hong Kong island and purchase a new Canon 24-70mm 2.8L lens. I agree that this will not mean a hell of a lot to most - but the lens is now the love of my life (sorry Souri).
So in between hunting for the lens, I was able to take in some of the charms of Hong Kong. A pretty amazing place that I am sure to get back to. The place was littered with all the cliché sites that I was hoping for. Towering apartment blocks, poky little back streets, towering office blocks and ablaze with neon signs for western brands.
