ok.... so it is obvious they are fit
the latest installment of the stylish riots events came rolling into town and pulled up at 333. was the first time that i had made it to 333 - despite being about 5 minutes walk from my gaff - and i was pretty impressed.
after the usual dramas trying to sort out passes and entry we wound or way down to the stage eager to see what the night had on offer. knowing that dead disco are a) very fit and b) very talented i was looking forward to the gig.
as the lasses took the stage the first of the two facts was confirmed. hot. but then as they launched into their first track the second fact become glaringly obvious. they are good, actually they are very very very good.
there songs are poppy and with a very strong electro syth sound. added to this the fact that they really turn out a great performance, i think we can expect to see a lot more of dead disco. the girls are all rock n roll and totally command the stage headed up front by vic as she climbed and sassed all over the stage.
really impressive stuff by some very talented and good looking leeds lasses. you can head here for the whole dead disco photo set
