what a day/week/year
aloha all,
how are you all going? hope that you have all survived the xmas/nye period... and for thoes that are effetced by it - survived the january blues....
things have been going exceedingly well for me so far this year... more on that in a little bit.
first though are the details of my xmas which was spent in val thorens in the french alsp (not chaminox as previously reported - but that is another story). we all had such a wicked time and all escaped with relatively few injuries... the snow itself was pretty good for what i have experienced before - but i think it was a little below european standards. but there was plenty of 30/45 minute runs to keep us entertained ;) i have the pics up on my flick site for you all to envy...

now - onto what has been so good about 2006....
well the year started off with a great boost when i found out that my picture got printed in Uncut magazine! was well chuffed - only been taking gig pics for a short amount of time and already one printed.... and here is the picture again....

so keeping with the music photography theme i have had another result in getting my first job taking pics for a magazine. was asked by someone from a music magazine called Artrocker to take some pics at a gig they put on. i am hoping that this will turn into some regular work - world domination is just around the corner i feel ;) will have the pics up there soon from this gig... until then you can have a look at the pics i took from the cribs

in totally differnet news now, i have FINALLY got my bond back from my old flat. think that i have banged on about this to some of you before, but basically the land lord from when me and bryce lived in brixton was a right knob and tried to scam loads of money off me. ended up in court and drama after drama followed. but a victory for the little guy as he finally coughed up all the 1400 quid that he owed me... thank god for that
and the last - but by no means least - sournia and i have found a place to move into. was the first flat that we actually got to have a look at - so pretty damn happy. place is really cool, rather large actually for a one bedroom flat. location is immense - right in the heart of the east end at the end of old street - an area that is rammed with good bars and music venues... so result in that they are now all within walking distance to our place. we are moving in on sat 11th of feb. we are planning of having a few drinks in the evening of the 11th - so anyone in london who is around come on over...
also - as some of you know i will be heading back to oz for my dads birthday and my sisters wedding. cannot wait for both events. looking forward to catching up with as many of you as i can while i am back ... and getting some much needed ozzie sun. will be landing in sydney on the 22nd feb... so see you soon
ciao for now
