well a big warm hello to everyone from a sunny sunny (yes sunny) london town.
spring has sprung in london and may i be the first to jinx us all and say that we are install for a wicked summer (ps - yes i take full responsibility for the shyte summer that we actually have installed. pretty massive change in the weather though - was well below zero and bucketing down snow a few weeks ago - now it is mid teens and sun sun sun. (think that i am turning british as i too am now obsessed with the weather).
been a while since i have contacted you all. so will try and cover what has been going on in the land of Vern.
group of us hit budapest for new years and had a wicked time, despite being fleeced at a strip club (mandy says high jester ;) such an amazing city and had a cracking night on NYE - seeing deepdish at pacha - top shelf.
been getting right into my photography and i am coming to the end of a 10 week course that i have been doing at a gallery just down the road from my place. been learning so much and loving every minute of it. managed to get my photos from bali up on the interweb - finally -

all good things must come to an end... and alas... the family is starting to drift off. Sus is heading back to oz soon - you are going to be missed suscat. few parting words

and the revolving door of the strat continues with Chadwick (chados) Moriaty taking the place in the room at the end of the hall. more of the family will also be leaving soon - lauren j is off in a few months - jimmy and bb a few months after that. but there are fresh troops on the way mr bryce edwards and mr scott spiers will be gracing our shores rather shortly!
speaking of gracing out shores - none other then mumma bear - jan wernej will be here in a matter of hours. going to be tops to see mum and show her around london town - hopefully not getting into to much trouble in brixton! mum is hear for a few days and then over to see mon in kenya. then she is back to london before we head off to slovenia for a few days. will be wicked to travel again. future travel plans are in progress as well - with a planned assult on south america early next year - the trusty trio of me/jimmy/bryce could be slasa-ing and samba-ing our way around south/central america... will keep you posted.
had some other good news today (sorry narkin - but it has to be said). i am currently in the process of applying for my new visa so that i can stay in the uk. was expecting this process to take about 8 months - nothing is done quickly over here. but looking like this may only take 8 weeks! such massive news.... not getting to excited.... but a lot happier about the whole process. again - will keep you posted on developments.
think that is about all for now. all is good over here for me. ticks in all the right boxes and looking forward to summer! whoops i said the s word again
