>> run forest run

hola all,
well the summer of luff 04 tour is continuing......

currently up in the north of spain at san sebastian adn after a few dramas with trains/buses marcus and i are heading down to barcelona. rather long journey ahead but it all rock and roll.

spent the last few days in a sangria fuelled haze in pamplona.

oh my god.

this would have to have been the biggest party that i have ever been too - and some bulls ran as well....

usual dramas when we first got there with accom-buses-trains all going a bit pete tong, but once all the pieces fell into place and los chicas turned up the show got rolling.

opening ceremony was absolutely mental. think rock concert styleee mosh add champagne-sangira-eggs-flour and you are starting to get the picture. all kicked off at 12 in the day and by 12:01 we were all completely covered in sangria. not sure of the reason why everyone gets covered in booze, but sometimes it is safer to go with the flow. so the whole day was spent with a bottle of sangria in hand and just cruising around the city partying with the espanols.

next morning we were up early thanks to our loverly wake up call from pip and mic ;) and it was back into the city for some up close and personal time with some MASSIVE bulls. the run was crazy. people and cattle everywhere. got a little too close to some of the bulls and i dont think that i have ever run so fast in my life. cruised around for the rest of the morning full of adrenalin....

more sangria
more spanish maddness

so i think that this kinda covers the last few days. couple of days in barca and then back to sunny london

hope that you are all well

1-2 -- 1-2-3-4

well it has all been rock n roll for this little black duck....

last weekend saw a rather large contingent of us head to the world famous glastonbury - OH MY GOD. words cannot explain how large the glastonbury area is - tents for as far as the eye can see - approx 145000 people on the site over the three days - and the music - well where do i start - the list is a little something like this....

the rapture
nick warren
elbow
groove armada
frans ferdinand
kings of leon
lee coombs
oasis
adam freeland
freq nasty
scissor sisters
keane
ben harper
chikinki
the killers
PAUL McCARTNEY - dad cannot wait to tell you all the details about this - immense - he is rock and roll
erol alkin
fat boy slim - jb spotters fee ;)
james brown
ozamatili
the cuban brothers
sisters of noise
medicine 8

paul mccartney was the absolute highlight. 50000 people singing hey jude was something else.

as per history the skies opened up adn the ground turned to MUD. joined the masses and purchased a pair of rather flattering yet very sensible wellies (gum boots to thoes in aus). got them rather cheap also - sorry disco dan.

so back from glastonbury and a little bit of decontamination and rest before the next leg - espanol.

headed straight to ibiza with number one wing man m. wood. weather was amazing. clubs were unbeleivable. ended up seeing darren emmerson, tim delux, eric marillo, harry 'choo choo' ramero and deep dish - amazing. life was grand. left the island this morning and on a whim we have hired a car and headed to madrid. meeting up with some of the other kids and watching the football tonight before heading to san sebastian for more f u n in the s u n. running of the bulls in a few days so more stories to follow.

time running out and the 30 degree weather is calling us outside.

hasta luego
