i love inland revenue
ola all,
hope that you are all well and have made it through the toughest leg of the silly season.
everything is going according to plan over. been busy organising next trip - to brazil - and cannot wait. it is going to be the business.
xmas and nye/nyd was wicked - albeit hard being away from family/friends.
had an amazing lunch/dinner at sus duttons place on xmas - the girls whipped up quite an array of baked delights (bang up job lauren and sus ;). spent day grazing on food/alcohol/sweets. a really good day.
nye headed to east london to check out the styles of 2ManyDJs. was a wicked nite. highlights include erol alkan (uk dj) acting like a rock star and beyonce[crazy in love] as the first track after 12:00.
lauren and i went and saw 'tonights the night'. which is a musical based on the music of the rock god - rod stewart. the show was amazing - ppl involved were disgustingly talented. amazing singing.... and of course all of rods gems were on display. 'if you think im sex', 'tonights the night' and a host of other crackers - you would have lurved it Leyarne.....
now some of you might be wondering about the title of this email. for thoes of you in the uk - i am not insane. for thoes of you in aus - the inland revenue is the uk equivalent of the ATO - but in terms of their levels of service - think australia post meets state rail workers and add a dash of sydney parking police..... so before you start grabbing the white jacket and the 'clinically insane' stamp i will confess again - I LOVE INLAND REVENUE.
this love was discovered after i received a nice big fat tax exemption from my good mates over at inland revenue. all though this may sound like a pretty shallow thing to get so happy about - any financial bonuses in london are like the gift of eternal life....
thats about it for me for now...
as always
