\/\/\/\/\ ITS A NEW JOB \/\/\/\/\

hello everyone, trust that you are staying well and just slightly left of trouble...

well it had to happen sooner or later..... but i finally landed a web job.

i am working for a company called watson wyatt [www.watsonwyatt.com], and they are a financial consultancy company - what ever that means. my role is basically web site admin, so i update pages on the site, add new ones and try and make enhancements where possible. fairly easy work and the people that i work with are pretty cool (but nothing like the versys posse). i have to travel a fair way out of london, a problem that is componded by the fact that the train line is getting maintenance work near my stop. so at the moment 1 am travelling about 1.5 hours, but hopefully this will be more like 1 hour once the work is finished. but the money was too good to say no too - £22 an hour, just a little bit better then the £4.20 i was on at the pub......

so just been settling in here for the last few days.

been going out a little bit - i will have some photos soon from our adventures. went and saw darren emerson and jon carter at underwater on sat nite.... cracking nite. went to a club called g-a-y the other week - guess you can work out what kinda place that was. was thinking of you butto and boshell ;) went with some of laurens work friends - pretty funny nite actually. that was on the fri nite, on the sat day i had possibly my best experience in london thus far.

all of us went into town and meet mic corran, dave ward, zach marks and a few other ppl for drinks for cozza's birthday. now cozza is the building manager for 1 tower bridge london - possible one of the best spots in london, about the equivilent to 1 circular quay. and considering that cozza was the building manager, he had access to all areas - including the roof. which is where we spent the entire afternoon, with numerous beers. i will send the photo through soon, but they dont do the view justice. you could see all the sites of london - st pauls, big ben, tower bridge, the whole city all from the on top of an 8 story building.... really was the best afternoon that i have ever had - we even got to see tower bridge open.... so a cracking afternoon was had by all.

went to camden markets the other week also - basically a cross between newtow and paddie markets - lots of fluro bongs???? went to a wicked pub after that - the lock taven. really good music and loads of pims made for another great arfternoon....

think that we (lauren and me - and brooke and michael, laurens friends who are staying with us) are going to brighton. head loads of good reports about the place so should be a fun weekend...

better get back to it
as always
