bang kok
well last day in thailand and i dont really want to leave. had such a good time and finally getting used to the heat and lady-boys
um since last i wrote.....
we got the accommodation for 16 bucks each. was such a nice place right near the water and nice clean rooms. sun finally came out. was unbeleivably hot - we are thinking high 30's, and the humidity is really high also. you could only lie in the sun for about 10 mins before you either melted or stop breathing from the heavy air.
koh samui was so nice. the beaches looked unreal in the sun. there are resturants all the was along the beach so it is breakfat/lunch/dinner with sand between the toes and water close by. all the returants are super cheap as well. we normally pay about 10 bucks for two plates or food, and a couple of drinks. kris and mortos, had THE BEST pad thai in the world. so nice and sitting in this little shack with the sun shining and the water crystal clear - there was even a resturant called montien ; )
um, what else. we went to a tiger zoo up in the hills of samui - got to sit next to a tiger for a photo. pretty massive cat, but didnt look so tough when it was drinking from a babies bottle
went out a couple of nites at chaweng beach - and that was an experience. had to be on the look out for lady-boys, drunk geeeeeezas and these little kids that run around trying to sell you floral necklaces. the little kids are absolute psycos. they would be all of about 5, running thru the streets at 1 in the morning, with about 3000 baht in there wallets. they are persistant little beggars also - one little kid would not leave me alone and he was pulling out all the text book moves to get me to pay out for a necklace - sad eyes, funny man, full on sex moves, and lady-boy homo moves also - and all of this from a kid that was 4 years old. pretty insane, but quite sad that a kid that old knows that much about life...
was another scorcher on the day that we were leaving samui - about 40 degs easy. even walking up the shops was hard and very sweaty. the boat ride was about really hot, but so nice - cruising thru tropical waters with storms brewing on the horizons....
pretty tired and exhausted once we pulled into bangkok at about 6 in the morning. another 17 hour haul.
bangkok is still just as insane. picked up some cheap cds last nite. btw: gus and ther versys boys - got some new sunglasses, so i will be sending my ones home to my mum cause she keeps asking for them back ;)
went to padpong - the ping pong capital of the world last nite. went to see a show and it was pretty ...... hmmmm..... different. the whole area was actally relly seady (hard to imagine i know). was lots of shifty characters around and was the first time that i felt a little unsafe.
so just hanging around today. got our flight at 11 tonite, so another whole new adventure is about to begin
thanks for all the replys that i have been getting - will try my best to answer them all
take care
